About The Position

Activities Assistant Altercare Zanesville Zanesville, OH Resident Activity Assistant organizes and participates in person-specific activity programming, including one to one interventions, small group facilitation and large group presentations and assists the resident activity director as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in activities department in a healthcare setting or equivalent
• STNA license is preferred, but we will train

Nice To Haves

• Experience with residents in a healthcare setting in an activity nature, is a plus.

Responsibilities

• communicating to residents the daily activities
• helping residents to activities
• doing daily documentation
• helping with miscellaneous duties that the Activity Director brings forth
