About The Position

Activities Aide Crook County Medical Services District is currently seeking an Activities Aide for our Long-Term Care Department. This position will assist the Activities Supervisor in providing activity programs for all residents and will be responsible for assisting residents or patients with the use of equipment as well as planning and monitoring their participation in various activities and outings. Essential Functions: ▪Assist the Activity Coordinator in the planning, development, and implementation of activities/programs which enriches the lives of the residents ▪Develop and lead small, medium and large group activities ▪Contribute to residents' care planning: assessments, care plan goals and approaches, and progress notes ▪Assist with documentation ▪Conduct one-to-one programs ▪Assist with field trips and outings, which may require the operation of a company vehicle ▪Other duties may be assigned Qualifications/Education: ▪High School Diploma or GED ▪Current CPR and/or First Aid Certificates obtained within 6 months of hire ▪Current Driver's License (must be 21 years of age due to CCMSD insurance policy stipulations) ▪WY CNA License must be obtained within 6 months of hire Experience: ▪Previous experience in a long-term care setting is preferred, but not required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: ▪Excellent patient care skills. ▪Professional and discrete manner at all times. ▪Ability to communicate effectively and verbally as well as the ability to follow verbal and written instructions. ▪Ability to work independently and with supervision. ▪Good driving record and ability to drive safely in various weather conditions. Hours of Work: 30-40 hours per week, rotating holidays, every other weekend Pay : Competitive salary with regular salary increases. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
