About The Position

The Acquisition Specialist Senior provides expert leadership and strategic guidance across all phases of the Program Executive Office Intelligence Electronic Warfare and Sensors Program Management Office Position, Navigation and Timing (PM PNT acquisition lifecycle.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Business preferred with seven (7) years of related experience in contract specialist functions as well as the development of procurement documentation in the description of work. OR
Non- Degree: Eleven (11) years of related experience in contract specialist functions as well as the development of procurement documentation in the description of work.
TS/SCI Clearance

Responsibilities

Leads the planning, development, review, and tracking of Acquisition Requirement Packages, ensuring full regulatory compliance and proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
Independently develops and coordinates complex acquisition documentation, including SOOs, SOWs, PWSs, and performance specifications, and is responsible for the comprehensive maintenance and analysis of contract metrics to inform strategic decision-making.
Establish and manage classified and unclassified contract schedules and milestones, coordinating effectively with PM PNT leadership, product teams, and external stakeholders
Develops and coordinates impactful briefing materials for program status, contracting, financial, and acquisition reviews, and actively leads participation in critical meetings such as IPTs, Milestone Reviews, and Program Management Reviews, providing expert guidance and ensuring successful program execution.
Formulate short and long-range logistics plans, analyze budgetary requirements, and proactively identify and recommend improvements to logistics processes and procedures. This includes providing input, analysis, and recommending changes to logistics resource planning and budgetary products derived from logistics requirements as well as assisting with the planning and coordination of the Operations Program Summary (OPS) 29 or depot maintenance budgetary process, and POM Program Reviews.
Assist in the development of internal controls, policy standards, and procedures as new policy, laws, and directives are released.
Support fielding synchronization meetings by coordinating, preparing, and briefing information associated with PM PNT systems in support of PM PNT product IMSs.
Support logistics audits and audit readiness testing by maintaining, collecting, reviewing, updating, and providing logistics and sustainment documentation to PM PNT.
Assist in preparing, reviewing, and commenting on SOOs, SOWs, PWS, performance specifications, and associated acquisition documentation and provide technical advice and assistance regarding proposal evaluation.
