Your Impact at SAM Oversee all aspects of data acquisition operations and grow the data acquisition team and capabilities Develop and maintain project budgets and schedules Develop budgets for capital expenditures with appropriate cost justifications Develop proposals and explore new business opportunities Grow and maintain strong relationships with key customers, vendors and acquisition subconsultants Maintain equipment and facilities Perform pre-acquisition planning, coordination, and integration Conduct data acquisition readiness, safety reviews, post acquisition reviews and complete documentation Responsible for documenting customer requirements and directing logistics support and arrangements for remote data acquisition operations Provide timely and accurate labor reports Forecast and update ongoing project costing and deliveries Assist Production and Engineering to operate profitability
Requirements
- 5 + years management experience
- 5+ years experience with data acquisition. Operations including terrestrial LiDAR, mobile LiDAR, aerial LiDAR and aerial Imagery preferably from both rotary and fixed-wing platforms
- Exceptional presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and multi-tasking skills
- B.S. in Geography, GIS or other related field preferred
- Flight operations experience with rotary, fixed-wing, and unmanned aerial vehicles
- Prior military experience preferred
- Experience with electric transmission preferred
Responsibilities
