This position is responsible for the daily activities associated with the Automated Clearing House.

Requirements

  • A High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematical skills as well as strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required.
  • Candidate must be detail oriented and have excellent communication, customer service, organization and data entry skills.
  • At least one year of office-related experience in a fast-paced environment normally required.
  • All applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

Nice To Haves

  • An Associate’s Degree in Business or Accounting preferred.
  • One (1) year of banking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Process A.M./P.M. Fed. Files.
  • Review and process OFAC files A.M./P.M.
  • Research and input daily memo list.
  • Research and process Notice of Changes, pre-notes, and Regulation E or reclamation returns.
  • Balance the ACH (Automated Clearing House) reconcilement and clear differences.
  • Process charge backs report.
  • Process reclamations, Indemnity letters, and trace requests.
  • Research and process returns and correction report.
  • Process deletions for un-posted as needed.
  • Assist with research as needed on customer issues.
  • Research and clear differences on ACH balancing.
  • Work with Electronic Banking as needed with originator.
  • Provide back up support for other applications as needed.
  • Maintain proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensure ongoing adherence to policies, procedures, and internal controls, and meet all training requirements in a timely manner.
