About The Position

The University of Southern Maine’s Office of Educator Preparation is seeking an Accreditation Data Specialist. The Accreditation Data Specialist (ADS) [https://drive.google.com/file/d/1psWqhtnkMGYu59cmHf7hxjMJpk3ylVHk/view?usp=drive_link] manages and uploads data into the USM Quality Assurance System; administers Student Learning and Licensure, the candidate assessment system; administers surveys to stakeholders used to inform continuous improvement processes, monitors enrollment data in licensure programs, and completes annual federal and state accountability and compliance reports. The ADS facilitates highly collaborative relationships among users of the candidate data management system, University offices and departments, and external vendors. The Office of Educator Preparation [https://usm.maine.edu/office-educator-preparation/] at the University of Southern Maine supports aspiring and current educators through high-quality teacher training, licensure programs, and professional development. This is a full-time position with a starting annual salary up to $44,000 located on our Gorham Campus.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, instructional technology, or a related educational field from an accredited college or University.
  • At least 3 years of experience constructing databases and managing Student Learning and Licensure, forms, and reports.
  • Experience managing the accreditation processes of educator preparation programs.
