Job Summary: Responsible for customer billing, cash application, collections, and account reconciliations to ensure timely and accurate receipt of payments. Supports month-end close and partners cross-functionally to resolve billing and payment issues.

Requirements

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience
1–3 years of Accounts Receivable or general accounting experience
Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
Intermediate Excel skills; manufacturing/B2B experience a plus

Nice To Haves

RP experience preferred (Infor SyteLine, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)

Responsibilities

Create and issue accurate customer invoices aligned to contracts, pricing, freight, and tax terms
Apply and reconcile customer payments (ACH, checks, wires, credit cards)
Research and resolve unapplied cash, short payments, and invoice discrepancies
Monitor AR aging and perform collections on past-due accounts
Communicate with customers and internal teams to resolve disputes
Reconcile AR subledger to GL and support month-end close
Prepare AR aging and collection reports
Support audits, SOX controls, and documentation
Identify process improvements to reduce DSO and improve billing accuracy
