About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage and oversee accounts receivable functions. This role involves posting payments, processing invoices, resolving past due payments, and maintaining key performance indicators related to accounts receivable.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably with accounts receivable.
  • Proficiency with SAP or related systems and Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Experience in the manufacturing or heavy machinery industry.

Responsibilities

  • Post payments received daily to the appropriate customer account.
  • Process completed delivery notes for invoicing in SAP and submit completed invoices to customers via their preferred delivery method.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal departments such as Sales, Quality, Shipping, and Customer Service to resolve past due payments.
  • Prepare and update the AR Aging report weekly by customer and present it to the Accounting Supervisor and CFO for review.
  • Prepare and process credit/debit notes in SAP to resolve issues such as pricing, quality, and quantity, and communicate these to customers.
  • Prepare monthly statements and email them to customers for review.
