Our Newest Opportunity: Accounts Receivable Specialist Summary: The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for processing payments received from invoiced clients from the bank account into accounts receivable and cash subledgers for the OneDigital Retirement + Wealth division. Showcasing knowledge of general accounting principles and MS Office (especially Excel), the selected candidate will be responsible for recording cash receipts in the billing system as invoices are paid, tracking and resolving outstanding payment issues, and generating accurate, timely aging reports. The applicant should display a positive and proactive attitude, strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize and multitask, and be a strong communicator, both in writing and over the phone, as he or she will frequently deal with various levels of management. This position will handle cash accounting and accounts receivable duties and will assemble highly confidential and sensitive information.

Requirements

  • A/BS in Accounting or Business
  • 3+ years of experience
  • Ability to resolve accounting variances independently
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Process bank deposits and apply to outstanding receivables in Workday
  • Reconcile bank account with Workday
  • Post daily bank deposits to Microsoft Dynamics cash subledger via upload
  • Obtain supporting documentation for bank deposits from outside vendors
  • Submit tickets to internal team(s) to review and process missing client agreements and/or other information to allow for cash application in Workday
  • Manage the status of accounts and balances and identify inconsistencies
  • Assist with general accounting month-end closing procedures as needed
  • Update accounts receivable database with new accounts or missed payments
  • Interact with customers and team leaders to resolve outstanding issues
  • Perform additional administrative duties as requested or assigned
  • Adhere to the standards and Code of Conduct of Resources Investment Advisors’ Broker/Dealer as described in all compliance and operations manuals.
