About The Position

Assist the Collections function within the Credit Department by handling a portfolio of business-to-business customers. This role involves managing a designated territory and a National Account. The primary responsibilities include collections and dispute resolution through phone, e-mail, and mail communications.

Requirements

Experience in Collections, Accounts Receivable, and B2B interactions.
Proficiency in Excel.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.
2+ years of experience working with business-to-business credit and collections.
1-2 years of experience with an ERP system and accounts receivable specific software.
Ability to use Microsoft Office Applications.

Responsibilities

Locate and contact delinquent customers to collect payments or resolve disputes via phone, e-mail, and mail.
Advise external customers on necessary actions and strategies for debt repayment to prevent product or service delays.
Identify, organize, and document all efforts using computer systems, including customer details and financial status.
Act as a liaison between external and internal customers to help resolve disputes preventing payment.
Build and maintain relationships with both internal and external customers.
Perform various administrative functions for accounts, including recording customer contact changes.
Provide requested information to customers, such as invoice copies.
