Requirements

2 to 4 years of medical account receivable experience required.
Experience with medical billing, denials, and approvals.
Experience working with MS Office and online payor portals (i.e. NaviNet)

Nice To Haves

College degree and/or EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Patient Account Management in a behavioral health setting.
Manages monthly accounts receivable for designated accounts.
Resolves unpaid claims and self-pay balances.
Works with payors to ensure proper reimbursement is received.
Creates billing statements, send appeals when necessary, prepare accounts for collections and handle all correspondences.
Identify and escalate payor, reimbursement, or process issues.
