About The Position

As an Accounts Receivable Manager, you will oversee the entire process of collecting payments from BearComs customers. The main responsibilities for this role include managing invoices, handling missed payments and supervising Accounts Receivable Specialists. The ideal candidate is familiar with all accounting procedures and can manage daily financial transactions end-to-end.

Requirements

• 7-10 years of work experience in a mid-sized organization, managing onshore and offshore resources.
• Proven work experience as an Accounts Receivable Manager or Supervisor.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software, preferably Blackline and SnapPay.
• Familiarity with advanced formulas in MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical skills along with the ability to create and present detailed reports.
• Ability to accurately process numerical data.
• Problem-solving attitude and confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in a business-related field preferred
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance a plus.
• CPA certification is a plus
• 5+ years of experience managing people
• JD Edwards software or similar ERP package experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Receivable Department.
• Train and oversee the team of A/R Specialists that handle the input of lock-box, wire transfers, credit card charges, credits and customer refunds as well as website payment reconciliation.
• Process tax credits and debits.
• Work along with various departments to record payments timely to provide accurate reporting.
• Works with credit departments to manage customer credit terms and minimize financial risk.
• Provide customer service regarding their accounts, payments, reconciliations, etc.
• Help with other projects as assigned.
