About The Position

The Accounts Receivable Manager oversees daily AR operations, supervises a small team, and ensures accurate cash application, clean aging schedules, and timely customer statements. This role partners closely with customers, store management, and an external collections agency to maintain strong cash flow and customer account integrity.

Requirements

• 2+ years of Accounts Receivable or accounting experience
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred
• ERP experience a plus
• Sales tax experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Supervise two AR clerks, ensuring deposits and cash applications are posted and applied daily
• Manage unallocated cash and advance deposits daily with clear documentation
• Review AR aging weekly and work with store managers to resolve aged balances
• Ensure customer statements are mailed and emailed promptly
• Ensure credit card receipts are processed accurately and timely
• Maintain accurate customer setup, credit limits, and blocked accounts
• Partner with collections to align open AR balances and customer statuses
• Review and resolve credit balances; research and approve customer refunds
• Manage the customer payment portal and integrated receivables
• Create manual invoices and credit memos for miscellaneous transactions
