About The Position

The Accounts Receivable Leader is responsible for managing the company’s A/R process to ensure accurate billing, timely collections, and strong cash flow performance. This role plays a key part in maintaining customer relationships, reducing aging balances, and supporting month-end close.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business or accounting, or related experience
3-5 years related experience in Accounts Receivable
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Self-starter who can work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word)

Responsibilities

Reconcile customer accounts and research discrepancies, short payments, deductions, and unapplied cash
Proactively manage aging reports and conduct collection outreach on past-due accounts
Maintain detailed documentation of collection efforts and customer communications
Collaborate with Sales to resolve billing disputes and improve collection outcomes
Reconcile the A/R subledger to the general ledger on a regular basis
Assist with month-end close by preparing aging reports, bad debt analysis, and required journal entries
Support credit reviews for new and existing customers, including monitoring credit limits when applicable
Identify and recommend process improvements to strengthen billing accuracy, cash flow, and internal controls
Establishes priorities and workload distribution to ensure deadlines are met
Trains, coaches, and develops A/R staff to strengthen technical capability and collection effectiveness
