About The Position

URBN Wholesale is seeking an Accounts Receivable Cash Application Specialist to support our Credit team and Accounts Receivable operations. This role supports global wholesale sales of apparel (including FP and BDG brands), managing day-to-day AR activities, collecting and credit onboarding across multiple currencies and regions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and smooth financial operations.

Requirements

• Experience in Accounts Receivable, credit, or collections within a corporate or wholesale environment is preferred.
• Strong verbal and phone communication skills, with the ability to professionally engage customers and internal stakeholders.
• Proficient in Excel and AR systems; experience with CGS BlueCherry is a plus.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform AR functions in USD, EUR, and GBP, including payment application and reconciliations.
• Apply payments received via check, web portals, and ACH/Wire Transfer.
• Support the AR team with location-specific workflows and reporting.
• Monitor past-due accounts and assist with collection efforts.
• Maintain AR and credit documentation in compliance with company policies.
• Research department store portal accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Communicate professionally with customers via phone and email to resolve AR issues.
• Assist with onboarding new customer credit applications, including data collection and verification.
• Engage with new and existing customers via phone to gather required information.
• Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and other administrative materials for the Credit team.
• Provide general administrative support to the URBN Wholesale Credit & Collections / AR Team.
