Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED, plus at least two years of college or equivalent accounting training.
• 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable and Billing (manufacturing or distribution experience is a bonus!).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills - you're confident with customers and colleagues alike.
• Comfortable working independently and staying organized in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Bonus skills: 10-Key by touch and 40+ WPM typing speed.

Responsibilities

• Lead the charge on billing and invoicing - create, process, and review customer invoices, including international shipments and specialized orders.
• Keep customer accounts in top shape - record payments, reconcile accounts, and resolve short pays quickly and accurately.
• Communicate with customers - follow up on payments, send reminders, and answer billing questions with professionalism and care.
• Collaborate cross-functionally - partner with Sales, Shipping, and Logistics to ensure smooth, accurate transactions from start to finish.
• Support accounting operations - maintain organized records, handle petty cash, and contribute to continuous process improvement.
• Be the go-to resource - maintain up-to-date "How To" documentation and occasionally assist at the front desk.
