About The Position

Fiber Network Services is a communications contractor offering a full range of fiber optic and cable network services. Servicing Cox Communications, Comcast Cable, Segra and Suddenlink in the States of Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, Tennessee, Florida, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and in Washington D.C., we are a trusted resource for cabling and maintaining high-speed internet connectivity via fiber optic and coaxial systems. We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Accounts Receivable Associate to help our corporate accounting team out of our Manassas, VA location with overseeing our customer billing operation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, an excellent communicator, and willing to learn. While accounting and/or general business experience is a plus, training will be provided for the right candidate.

Requirements

• Understanding of accounting and financial data management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and willingness to learn accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive, eager-to-learn attitude with a team-player mindset

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred.
• While accounting and/or general business experience is a plus, training will be provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Support and assist in overseeing each of our office locations’ billing operation.
• Assist with data entry, invoice processing, and financial document management.
• Maintain and organize financial records, reports, and files.
• Communicate with internal departments and external vendors regarding financial transactions and documentation.
• Help ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
• Communicate regularly with each of our offices to resolve issues within our billing practices.
