POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Apply customer payments Research and solve payment discrepancies Process credit card payments and credits Follow-up with customers regarding past due amounts and payment status Make adjustments to accounts as needed Reconcile customer account balances Calculate rebate and commission payments EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS: High School diploma or equivalent required Associate degree in Accounting preferred Minimum 2+ years relevant experience required Ability to adhere to and meet deadlines Ability to work independently with little supervision Ability to handle and maintain sensitive and confidential information Excellent communication skills both oral and written Excellent attention to detail Works well in a team environment WORKING ENVIRONMENT: This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Requires working indoors in environmentally controlled conditions. Requires sitting for long periods of time.
