A well -established manufacturing organization on the Connecticut Shoreline is seeking a detail -oriented and dependable Accounts Receivable & Accounting Operations Specialist to support core financial operations. Requirements
- Experience in accounts receivable and general accounting
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem -solving skills
- Proven reliability, professionalism, and follow -through
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline -driven environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Nice To Haves
- ERP system experience is a plus
- Credit and Collections experience is a plus
- Multilingual (Spanish and/or Italian) is a plus
Responsibilities
- Execute high -volume daily invoicing with accuracy and timeliness
- Monitor and manage accounts receivable aging, including follow -up on outstanding balances
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding payment status and past -due accounts
- Support external accounting partners with:
- Journal entries
- General ledger activities
- Account reconciliations
- Assist with cash and bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
- Provide backup support to accounts payable during peak periods
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient financial operations
