Requirements

  • High School Diploma required
  • 0-2 years accounting experience preferred
  • Invests in developing and applying financial knowledge and principles to deliver accurate, high-quality outcomes.
  • Utilizes analytical skills to identify opportunities or root causes, evaluate information, and execute effective solutions.
  • Actively contributes to established workflows, processes, and deliverables, using systems and resources to provide a world-class client experience while meeting compliance requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Accounting degree preferred
  • insurance agency experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately process basic cash receipts using prescribed workflows and systems with assistance from leader
  • Perform basic day-to-day financial transactions including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording cash receipts data
  • Research and resolve simple issues/discrepancies associated with cash receipts in a timely manner and appropriately communicate with internal and/or external parties when necessary
  • Assist with premium financing for clients with external premium finance companies
  • Assist with daily reconciliation of cash receipts and deposits
