About The Position

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic full time Accounts Receivable Accountant to become an integral part of our team as we continue to scale and grow. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a high-growth company supporting approximately 60 retail stores located across the US. As an Accounts Receivable Accountant you will: Manage accounts receivable collections by tactfully chasing outstanding payments. Allocate incoming payments accurately to customer accounts within the Point of Sale system. Act as the primary point of contact for store managers regarding accounts receivable queries. Engage with customers to respond to inquiries and build strong, professional relationships. Prepare and manage sales invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customer requirements. Collaborate with internal teams to guarantee accurate billing. Maintain financial accuracy through regular bank reconciliations and promptly address any queries. Generate regular receivable reports and support month-end financial procedures. Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounts receivable function. Support the finance team with various ad-hoc requests to contribute to our collective success. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional problem-solving skills, a proactive approach to their work, and a dedication to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency in all accounting functions.

Requirements

  • Authorisation to work in the United States
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance role
  • Existing accounting knowledge
  • Experience using iPlicit, Xero, Netsuite or other accounting software
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel

Nice To Haves

  • Accounting/bookkeeping certification (or working towards)
