About The Position

The J.R. Simplot Company is a diverse, privately held global food and agriculture company headquartered in Boise, Idaho. We are a true farm-to-table company with an integrated portfolio including food processing and food brands, phosphate mining, fertilizer manufacturing, farming, ranching and cattle production, and other enterprises related to agriculture. Summary Under general supervision, this role completes a variety of clerical/administrative activities supporting company-wide disbursement processing.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED required
• 3+ years related experience and/or training
• Possess a thorough understanding of assigned accounting related functions (i.e. A/P, A/R)
• Able to operate general business machines such as computer, and similar office equipment efficiently and accurately
• Perform routine mathematical calculations
• Able to accurately complete high volume of work within specified time frames
• Must be punctual and have regular attendance

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year college or university preferred
• SAP experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Invoice Identification
• Routing invoices to the correct Simplot Approver & Location
• Researching Invoice and Vendor history and payment methods
• Matching and processing purchase orders to the correct receipts for payment
