About The Position
Kforce has a client in Arlington, VA that is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience managing Accounts Payable processes
- Strong knowledge of month-end closing and budgeting
- Leadership skills with ability to train and develop team members
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Full-cycle, high-volume AP experience (preferred)
- Full-cycle, high-volume experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Managing monthly closing of financial records and posting of month end information
- Preparing and recommending operating and personnel budgets for approval; monitoring spending for adherence to budget, recommending variances as necessary
- Training and evaluating employees to enhance their performance and development
- Addressing performance issues and making recommendations for personnel actions
- Motivating and rewarding employees including providing salary increases, bonuses, and promotions within allocated budgets and company guidelines
