About The Position

The Manager, Accounts Payable manages accounts payable, cash disbursements and related processes to provide efficient and accurate processing of purchases and payments in support of all of Revelyst’s brands. Reporting to the Vice President, Controller, and based in our Irvine, California office, this position also plays a key role in process improvement and the development of systems. The Manager, Accounts Payable also works closely with operations, corporate functions, treasury and FP&A teams to support forecasting and optimize working capital management. This position will report to the Corporate Controller and will be based in our Irvine location.

Requirements

  • 10+ years’ experience in accounts payable, including 5+ years managing a team.
  • Substantial experience in large or mid-cap companies—preferably in consumer products or similar industry.
  • Experience with EDI, payment systems and accounts payable automation tools.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Netsuite.
  • Ability to work in a complex organization having multiple business units, brands and ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated talent for improving systems and processes and a mindset for continuous improvement.
  • Strong work ethic, a sense of urgency and unquestioned integrity.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, etc.).
  • Ability to work on site in our Irvine, CA offices at least 4 days per week.

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the accounts payable, cash disbursement and related processes for all group companies, operating across multiple ERP systems.
  • Recruit, develop, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team.
  • Continually work to improve processes and information systems to increase efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with contracts, company policies and/or applicable laws and regulations.
  • Work closely with operations, corporate functions and other teams to ensure complete and accurate month-end accruals of liabilities.
  • Supervise and review the work of the accounts payable team.
  • Maintain effective internal accounting controls.
  • Review processes and recommend and implement improvements.
  • Develop and document policies and procedures.
  • Manage relevant reporting, such as Forms 1099.
