About The Position

In the position of Lead, Accounts Payable, you will lead, mentor, and coach the accounts payable staff to ensure invoices are processed, paid timely, and accurately. Responsible for supporting the team research discrepancies, work with many different departments, and vendors globally

Requirements

• Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of -- Accounting, Finance or related field of study
• Between 3-5 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Accounting
• Between 1-3 years of experience in a full cycle accounts payable role, internal control system
• SAP experience, Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word (vlookups, pivot tables)

Responsibilities

• Audit and post purchase orders (PO) and Non-PO invoices
• Create and review payment proposals
• Resolve invoice issues with Transportation, Customer Service, Inventory, Purchasing, etc.
• Perform monthly closing procedures and run reports
• Provide leadership to accounts payable team and deliver on special projects as assigned
