About The Position

Kingwood Pines Hospital is a 116 bed facility located in the beautiful residential Kingwood community. We are located about 30 miles northeast of the Houston Medical Center. The hospital provides 24-hour emergency services. We serve children, adolescents, and adults for psychiatric and behavioral health. The hospital also has services in intensive outpatient and partial hospital program services.

Primary responsibility for the PT Accounts Payable is to generate timely and accurate accounts payable processing.

Requirements

• Education: HS Diploma
• Experience: Minimum one year AP experience
• Additional Requirements: Strong knowledge of spreadsheet systems, specifically Excel. Knowledge of basic accounting skills. Detail orientated with above average customer service skills, both internal and external.

Responsibilities

• Process general ledger reconciliation.
• Review invoices for accuracy and purchase order match.
• Code AP vouchers.
• Maintain recurring AP voucher log, AP check log and AP system/records.
• AP processing, payment scheduling and check generation.
• Year-end AP and 1099 processing and petty cash maintenance.
• Complete all required monthly in-services and educational training as required.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
