Basic Job Functions:The Accounts Payable Clerk supports accounting operations by managing day-to-day accounts payable activities and collaborating with vendors and internal teams. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting month-end close processes while ensuring efficient and reliable payment operations.

Requirements

• Computer skills – Experience using Microsoft Excel and the MS Office Suite.
• candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all facets of the accounts payable system
• Review and process vendor invoices
• Ensure timely and accurate payments are made to vendors
• Work with vendors, requisitioners, and purchasers to resolve payment issues
• Assist Accountants with month-end close responsibilities
• Cross-train with Accounting Department teammates to provide coverage and support
• Perform other clerical or administrative functions related to Accounts Payable, AccountsReceivable, Accounting, and Human Resources as needed
