About The Position

Full-time opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Huntsville, AL. This is an in-office position where you will perform a mix of accounting and administrative responsibilities in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting support role
  • Strong communication skills and a team-player mindset
  • Organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency working with Microsoft Excel functions
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
  • Willingness to perform a variety of responsibilities beyond the traditional AP role

Nice To Haves

  • 5-10 years' experience in an Accounts Payable role highly desired
  • Associate Degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and run weekly check payments
  • Accurately and efficiently process approximately 80-100 invoices per week
  • Maintain and track purchase orders
  • Assist with general accounts payable functions and reconciliations
  • Communicate regularly with field team members to support their operational needs
  • Provide administrative support, including ordering office supplies and stocking common areas
  • Assist with various office tasks and projects as needed
