As a key member of the Finance/Accounts Payable department you will be responsible for processing invoices, responding to vendor calls and reconciling vendor accounts as needed. This position interacts with various departments and levels of management throughout the company making effective communication skills critical. This position requires an individual who is very detail oriented and ensures a high level of accuracy.

Requirements

  • Two year college education or equivalent business experience
  • Minimum of one year of high-volume Accounts Payable experience
  • Detail oriented and able to multi-task
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office particularly Excel
  • Ability to manage a high-volume workload independently
  • Ability to work with all levels of management and as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Processing invoices
  • Research and resolve credit memos, chargebacks and miscellaneous correspondence
  • Vendor relations and statement analysis
  • Run journals and review batches before posting
  • Assist with and prepare check runs
  • Other related duties as required or directed
