About The Position

Our team at Cutalong at Tributer Resort is looking to add an Accounts Payable Associate who will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records. This role will work closely with the finance, accounting and development team with duties to include supporting day-to-day financial operations, posting and tracking invoices for multiple entities, assist with cash flow management, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting , Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2+ years of bookkeeping or similar AP/AR experience.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or similar) and familiarity with Microsoft Excel and financial modeling tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Post all transactions related to expenses into the designated accounting software.
  • Assist with cash forecasting and reporting to ensure proper liquidity and cash management for operations and investments.
  • Process invoices, track expenses, and ensure proper coding for accurate financial reporting.
  • Process and reconcile all contractor payment applications ensuring conditional and unconditional lien release compliance.
  • Prepare and submit for approval all bank draws for construction projects.
  • Support the tax reporting process by preparing necessary schedules and documents for tax filings, as requested .
  • Track and report on financial performance metrics for portfolio companies.
  • Help maintain and enforce internal financial controls, ensuring accuracy and compliance with firm policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial documentation for regulatory filings, audits, and due diligence processes.
  • Provide general administrative support to the development team, including organizing documentation and report preparation.
