About The Position

Responds to accounts payable needs and requests throughout the agency. Maintains accurate filing of all accounts payables records. Maintains flow of information between accounts payable and vendors. Maintains the Boy’s Bank and all the requisite data (e.g. deposits, withdrawals, etc.). Manage the Chase Credit Card entries monthly. Meet auditor requirements during audits and maintains accurate records of transactions and ensures audit compliance. Maintains and administers the cash functions for The Children's Village Accounting Office. Distributes cash to Children’s Village personnel.

Requirements

  • Relevant Finance Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of MS Office, including advanced Excel functions and experience in common ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical skills .
  • Ability to identify, research and resolve problems and identify sustainable solutions.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective customer/supplier relationships.
  • Ability to manage through multiple systems and competing priorities.
  • Ability to collaborate & negotiate with multiple stakeholders to resolve issues.
  • Ability to be an effective team member and display initiative.
  • Excellent organizational and filing abilities required
