THE ROLE Using discretion and judgment, prepares financial reports and analysis for Corporate Finance and for strategic business units. Completes the financial close process of financial applications inclusive of data maintenance, financial proofs, and reconciliations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or Associate’s degree with 0-2+ years of related experience
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong computer skills including experience in spreadsheet and database applications.
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares various financial and operational reports for business units and Corporate Finance.
  • Utilizes financial applications and proposes and assists with upgrades or process improvements.
  • Ensures accurate flow of information between systems utilizing various types of data files.
  • Completes the financial close process of financial applications inclusive of data maintenance, financial proofs, and reconciliations.
  • Preparing materials for meetings on the internal and external audits including regulatory audits.
  • Utilizes policies and procedures to ensure compliance with internal controls and standard operating procedures.
  • Interfaces with Corporate Finance, business units, and a variety of external parties relating to financial applications and reports.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as requested.
