About The Position

We’re looking for a driven, relationship-focused Accounts Manager to join our team in the North/Winchester market. In this role, you’ll be responsible for generating new business, managing client relationships, and growing preventative maintenance agreements while representing BBI’s full range of mechanical services. This is a high-impact, client-facing position where you’ll own the full sales cycle—from prospecting to long-term account growth. Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development
  • Strong relationship-building and client management skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and documentation habits
  • Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office (BuildOps experience a plus)
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven by results

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in mechanical contracting, HVAC, or construction is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through daily prospecting and outreach
  • Develop, pitch, and close preventative maintenance agreements
  • Manage and grow existing client accounts, ensuring high satisfaction and retention
  • Track and proactively renew service agreements
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
  • Collaborate with operations and project teams to ensure successful service delivery
  • Prepare proposals, quotes, and presentations for new and existing clients
  • Monitor account performance and provide regular reporting to leadership
  • Conduct client check-ins and account reviews to identify growth opportunities
  • Maintain accurate records of all client activity and communication in CRM (BuildOps)
  • Partner with internal teams (finance, operations, marketing) to support client success
  • Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive offerings
