About The Position

Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates for an Accounting Technician to join the Clyde, Ohio Manufacturing Operations.
Function Overview:
This role is a great opportunity to be part of a manufacturing facility that works toward World Class Manufacturing. The Accounting Technician will be responsible for helping drive improvement within
our WCM Compass Room. This position reports directly to the Finance Manager. The ideal candidate for this role will actively work with the finance team as well as operations leadership to drive improvement and support the broader manufacturing operations strategy.

Requirements

• A Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business OR in their final year of completing a Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business

• Experience in manufacturing accounting is a definite plus.
• Ability to manage data to help drive clarity around results.
• Ability to understand manufacturing operations.
• Ability to explain financial results to a non financial audience.
• Ability to work cross-functionally to drive alignment that is in the best interest for the company.
• Excellent communications, analytical, planning, and teamwork skills
• Excellent presentation skills to present operating results to various leadership teams

Responsibilities

• Learn about the World Class Manufacturing (WCM) experience and really dive into Cost Deployment with the Finance Team
• Sustain and improve Internal Controls, ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies
• Drive operational performance through robust financial analysis.
• Work cross-functionally with the Manufacturing Team.
• Support continuous improvement in plant financial processes, standardization and compliance.
• Learn the plant budgets and help drive accountability and transparency.
