About The Position

MyUSA Credit Union is a member-owned, over $350 million financial institution with offices in Middletown (2), Trenton, Kettering (2), Moraine, Springfield and Vandalia, Ohio. We are seeking interested candidates for an Accounting Support position at our corporate branch in Middletown. MyUSA's Accounting Support assists with a variety of duties related to Finance and Accounting within the Credit Union. Following standardized procedures they perform routine accounting operations to further the accounting function, ensuring consistency and that all actions are in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles as well as established legal and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • Accounting degree or certificate or combination of education & experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Well-developed planning and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in financial services (back office) a plus

Responsibilities

  • Accurately prepares timely daily, month-end, quarter-end, and year-end journal entries.
  • Prepares monthly and quarterly financial reports.
  • Monthly account reconciliation to support all general ledger accounts.
  • Provides a wide variety of ad hoc reports, analysis, and recommendations for executive management.
  • Maintains timely scanning of accounts payable invoices
