About The Position

This position will assist with daily accounting tasks at the plant. This includes but is not limited to the accounting and reconciliation of expenses, accruals, production , and inventory. The supervisor will contribute to help draft P&L statements weekly as well as monthly close functions .

Requirements

Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Minimum of 2 years accounting educational experience (preferred) , or 5 years of office or industry experience
Microsoft Office proficient; Microsoft Excel knowledge mandatory ; SAP or similar
W eekend availability required
General computer knowledge , effective communication skills, & critical thinking are required.
time management and attention to detail are needed

Responsibilities

Reconcile, adjust, and maintain fresh & frozen inventory within JBS perpetual inventory system with a high level of accuracy
Compile and analyze daily production , and report yields to plant stakeholders
Month-end closing procedures include accruals, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliation, inventory counting, income statement overview, and required SOX controls for this location
Assist other departments with their accounting inquiries
Other duties as requested

Base salary range of $60,000 - $ 70 ,000
Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program
