We Offer: Medical, Dental, Vision HSA program 401K with company match PTO Competitive Pay: Starting at $55,000 - offer based on experience Position Duties: The Accounting Specialist is responsible for daily review and accurate recording of revenue and expenses from flights, expense reports, and other financial data into the accounting software system of QuickBooks On-line. Provide accounting and analytical support to the Accounting Department and company personnel Review receipts and flight logs to ensure all expenses are captured accurately on flight envelopes Verify and record credit card and cash transactions in QuickBooks Communicate with employees, vendors, and customers as needed. Review and record expense reports in QuickBooks Generate invoices according to customer contracts/agreements in QuickBooks Maintain an up-to-date and accurate inventory of customer contracts and their associated terms Conduct weekly collection calls to customers with past due amounts. Maintain call logs and records Escalate and help mitigate delinquent accounts with upper management through direct supervisor Investigate and report any documentation problems or discrepancies to direct supervisor Reconcile credit card statements as assigned Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable law On-site work (not remote)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or a minimum of 3 years of QuickBooks experience required. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must possess excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Must be able to pass a preemployment background check
  • On-site work (not remote)

Nice To Haves

  • Highly preferred (but not required) that candidates are Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designations.
