About The Position

The Accounting Specialist performs specific accounting duties related to invoice processing.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic knowledge of accounting theory.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to maintain discipline when performing routine tasks.
• Knowledge of Microsoft office programs, including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices through data entry into payables systems, including verification of appropriate account segments and delegation of authority.
• Assist with account and statement reconciliations for vendors as needed.
• Verifying purchase order and invoices match.
• Perform accounts receivable functions, including invoice billing and recognition of income as needed.
• Perform collection of outstanding balances from vendors as they age.
