About The Position

Working under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer, this role will have a strong background in bookkeeping, payment processing, accounts payable, invoice correction and reconciliation.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Degree is preferred but not required.
  • Minimum 3 years proven experience as an accounting specialist or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel). Proprietary software used.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Superb analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Exercise integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting.
  • Comply with GAAP and HIPAA guidelines.
  • Ability to multi-task, interpreting on-going problems and suggesting possible solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Track and reconcile financial transactions, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize different software systems to manage financial data, generate reports and streamline accounting processes.
  • Process payments accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Send out invoices to client facilities in a timely manner.
  • Identify and rectify errors in invoices, working collaboratively with teams to ensure accuracy.
  • Records payments and reconciles remittance advices.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Coordinate the annual audit process and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of all accounting transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service to client facilities regarding billing inquiries
