  • Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in an accounting environment, with proven expertise in full cycle accounting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word) and Internet navigation required.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and commitment to continuous improvement.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with MieTrak accounting software and CRM systems preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of UPS and battery makes/models and general troubleshooting procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding customer service with pride—supporting both our valued clients and internal team members with professionalism and care.
  • Manage daily invoicing for emergency service, preventative maintenance, battery replacements, parts orders, and equipment purchases with speed and accuracy.
  • Monitor and manage the shared accounting inbox to ensure timely responses and smooth communication flow.
  • Utilize customer portals to process online invoicing efficiently and accurately.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly customer statements.
  • Maintain weekly collections performance, keeping outstanding receivables under a 3% threshold.
  • Apply appropriate state sales tax with precision when reviewing invoices.
  • Set up and manage customer billing portals with confidence and expertise.
  • Accurately post RMA credit invoices and approve and enter freight bills.
  • Assist in completing monthly sales tax filings for multiple city and local jurisdictions.
  • Import weekly credit card transactions into accounting software and prepare weekly expense reports.
  • Perform detailed monthly reconciliations of dropship battery and parts inventory.
  • Process credit card payments quickly and securely.
  • Develop, write, test, and refine clear, easy-to-follow Standard Operating Procedures to support consistent, high-quality workflows.
  • Demonstrate a “do it right the first time” mindset and a strong commitment to quality.
  • Tackle challenges head-on while balancing multiple priorities, resolving customer issues with professionalism and positivity.
  • Communicate confidently and professionally with customers and employees via phone, email, and written correspondence.
  • Take initiative in supporting additional projects and responsibilities as assigned by the Accounting Manager.
