About The Position

Paradigm is searching for an Accounting Specialist (AP/AR) to support day-to-day accounting operations with a focus on accounts payable and receivable to join our client. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, thrives in a detail-oriented environment, and can manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.

Requirements

3+ years of accounting experience, with a focus on AP/AR
Strong experience working with spreadsheets and accounting systems
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Strong communication skills across vendors and internal teams

Nice To Haves

Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field
Experience supporting accounts receivable processes

Responsibilities

Process and manage accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Review invoices for proper coding and resolve discrepancies or exceptions
Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain strong vendor relationships
Reconcile corporate credit card transactions and ensure proper documentation
Assist with implementation of ACH payment processes to improve efficiency
Perform general accounting tasks including data entry and general ledger support
Prepare and post journal entries based on supporting documentation
Maintain prepaid expense schedules and assist with financial reporting
Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations
Perform moderately complex spreadsheet calculations and analysis
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial data
Complete additional accounting-related tasks as needed
