About The Position

Gem Mazda of Tallahassee Gem Mazda of Tallahassee is a locally owned and operated dealership seeking a well-rounded, organized, and detail-oriented individual to join our Accounting Office. This position supports a variety of accounting, inventory, and administrative functions and requires the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
• Professional and effective communication skills with customers, vendors, and employees
• Basic accounting knowledge and office experience preferred
• Proficiency with computer systems and data entry
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Valid driver’s license
• Background check
• Steady work ethic, with a minimum of two consecutive years in a similar role

Responsibilities

• Balance daily cash, registers, checks, and credit card transactions
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Review and monitor AP/AR schedules
• Send monthly Accounts Receivable statements
• Obtain and maintain W-9 forms
• Prepare and process end-of-year 1099s
• Maintain office supplies and place inventory orders as needed
• Manage inventory of customer water and snacks
• Input OEM vehicle inventory and used vehicle purchases
• Post internal repair orders and parts invoices
• Submit OEM incentives
• Process product cancellations
• Handle trade vehicle payoffs
• Process trade titles
