JOB PURPOSE The Accounting Manager has a key role within the Finance & Accounting team, responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring the integrity of the company's financial records. This individual will manage balance sheet reconciliations, inventory accounting, SG&A expense analysis, and support the monthly financial close and review process. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, self-motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively manage both processes and people.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and a continuous improvement mindset
  • Strong proficiency in U.S. GAAP; familiarity with IFRS a plus
  • Knowledge of general office clerical procedures.
  • Strong computer skills with expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, complex formulas)
  • Ability to regularly exercise sound judgment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
  • Minimum of 5-8 years experience of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
  • Demonstrated experience with balance sheet reconciliations, inventory accounting, and financial close processes

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with business intelligence / reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) a plus
  • Experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or retail environment a plus
