About The Position

Accounting Manager directly supervises three to five professional accountants and assists the healthcare system’s Controller in managing the day-to-day accounting operations and month end close process. Accounting Manager will help ensure the healthcare system’s financial statements, books, and records are prepared and maintained in accordance with GAAP. Accounting Manager will help ensure internal controls and policies are in place and being followed. Accounting Manager will participate and have a leading role in the annual audit and budget processes. Accounting Manager will participate and/or lead on ad hoc financial-related projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from an accredited university- required
  • Five (5) or more years of relevant and progressive accounting or audit experience management experience (Healthcare industry- preferred)- required

Nice To Haves

  • Master's of Business Administration (MBA) or Master's of Healthcare Administration (MHA)- preferred
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA)- preferred
  • Healthcare industry- preferred
