About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and investigative Accounting & Investigations Associate to support client engagements involving financial review, asset recovery, and statutory compliance. This is a client-facing role that requires strong communication skills, financial acumen, and the ability to work independently in a remote setup. The role will primarily liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Requirements

• Female candidate
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with a strong academic record
• Good working knowledge of accounting principles
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in an office environment; auditing experience is highly preferred
• 1–2 years of accounting or audit background is suitable
• Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing Mandarin and English
• Strong work ethic and high level of professionalism
• Able to work remotely with minimal supervision and strong self-initiative
• Excellent time management and task prioritization skills

Responsibilities

• Liaise closely with clients, primarily Mandarin-speaking, to obtain and clarify company and financial information
• Review and investigate company financial records, including bank statements, financial reports, and related documents
• Assist in identifying, preserving, and recovering company assets
• Support clients in the preparation and completion of statutory and regulatory forms
• Prepare comprehensive reports for creditors and other stakeholders
• Assist in the finalisation and closure of assigned matters in a timely and professional manner
