About The Position
We are seeking an Accounting Intern to join our Finance & Accounting team. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in accounting principles, financial reporting, and operational finance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to learn about corporate accounting processes.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment.
Nice To Haves
- experience with accounting software like QuickBooks is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Support reconciliation of bank statements, invoices, and financial transactions.
- Help prepare monthly financial reports and maintain financial records.
- Assist in data entry and analysis to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Work with the team on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis projects.
- Conduct research on accounting policies and compliance regulations.
- Participate in audit preparation and document organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on ad hoc accounting projects.
