ABOUT THE ROLE The Accounting Coordinator performs foundational accounting functions in support of our Corporate Accounting team within Parent Accounting. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, professional environment and enjoys contributing to a variety of accounting activities. Parent Accounting supports more than 50 business units, representing over 200 departments across multiple countries. Team members gain broad exposure to corporate accounting, build transferable skills, and have a strong track record of advancement into other corporate departments. Each day brings new challenges, opportunities, and learning experiences! This position is located at our Corporate Headquarters in Clayton, MO and reports to an Accounting Supervisor. Requirements

  • Must have a High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must have a minimum of 1 year of accounting experience
  • Intermediate proficiency or above with using Microsoft Excel
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Large company accounting experience
  • PeopleSoft experience

Responsibilities

  • Review and approve travel reimbursement reports for various Corporate departments
  • Prepare billings and multi-currency journal entries
  • Assist Accountants with daily accounting activities and support tasks
  • Prepare invoices for payment, including obtaining approvals, GL coding, and data entry
  • Deposit checks and ensure accurate recording
  • Manage emails and requests received through department shared mailboxes
  • Identify cost savings opportunities and process efficiencies
