About The Position

Member of the corporate finance team responsible for recording financial transactions of the company to facilitate payment activity and to support the accuracy and completeness of the organization’s financial records. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Record Transactions, Reconcile Accounts, & Prepare Analysis (80%) Follow established policies and procedures to accurately maintain the organization’s financial records. Initiate cash transactions to facilitate payment activity. Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with accounting guidance to accurately record financial transactions. Prepare spreadsheets and other financial reports by collecting and analyzing accounting information. Decision Support & Process Improvement (10%) Evaluate existing accounting policies and procedures and recommend changes for greater efficiency and service delivery. Other Duties as Assigned (10%) Participate in other department projects as appropriate. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Less than 1 year of directly related work experience required, 1-2 years of directly related work experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel required.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred.
