About The Position

The Accounting Coordinator manages financial and personnel data for the department and oversees assigned responsibilities to ensure that established standards are maintained.Long DescriptionCOMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $24.00 to $26.00. Requirements

  • Minimum of 1–3 years of operations or administrative management experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with clients, customers, and team members.
  • Ability to write professional correspondence, summaries, and reports while maintaining proper grammar, punctuation, and formatting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to work with basic mathematical concepts such as percentages, ratios, and data analysis.
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to handle confidential employee, client, and company information with discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain employee files in accordance with all Aramark required documentation standards. Coordinate the recruiting and onboarding of new hires between MyWorkLife and hiring managers throughout all stages of the hiring process.
  • Manage the payroll database in Kronos for all employees, including but not limited to schedules, time off requests, weekly payroll submission, updating union dues, monthly pension updates, and annual salary increases for union employees as specified. Closely adhere to all wage and hour requirements as defined by Aramark.
  • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other associated financial data, including month-end data entry and reporting. Responsibilities include invoice certification, posting invoices, reconciling and closing weekly and monthly financials in GFF, generating client invoices in a timely manner, and communicating with leadership as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with departmental and company standards, including maintaining required documentation and reporting processes.
  • Support operational activities by managing data entry, system updates, and process coordination as needed to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  • Participate in daily departmental functions to ensure operational efficiency and continuity of service.
  • Adhere to established systems and training programs to provide a safe working environment. Comply with all OSHA regulations and other local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Maintain compliance with ARAMARK’s standards of operation. Adhere to ARAMARK’s Business Conduct Policy at all times. Maintain all records and reports to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and codes.
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines, including the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967, as amended, and the Americans with Disabilities Act, as amended.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.
