The Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel in search of a detailed oriented and timely candidate to join our accounting team as an Accounting Clerk! Requirements

• Two-year college degree in Accounting preferred or 1-2 years experience in an accounting role.
• Good working knowledge of Hospitality accounting systems.
• Strong working knowledge of computer systems/ programs such as PeopleSoft, Excel, etc.
• Good interpersonal skills with verbal and written communication skills.
• Good supervisory skills.
• Meet strict time deadlines.
• Able to think and act independently.
• Operate calculator, PC, Keyboard.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of customer statements by posting accounts, allowances, refunds, and payments.
• Review of guest ledger accounts for timely payment receipts.
• Data entry/posting to accounts.
• Run statements and verify information.
• Input of Daily Income Journals
• File and organize accounting documents.
